losing faith, 2025

invited - National holocaust centre & museum uk

Losing Faith focuses on synagogues desecrated worldwide from the 20th century to the present day. As targets of hate crimes, these sacred spaces have been defaced with antisemitic and anti-Israel graffiti, daubed with swastikas, and subjected to arson. Prayer books and sacred Torah scrolls have been destroyed; interiors defiled with excrement and paint. In some cases, Jewish worshippers have been injured or murdered in these attacks.
