Losing Faith focusses on synagogues which have been desecrated around the world in the 20th and 21st centuries. As targets of hate crimes, they have been defaced with antisemitic and anti-Israel graffiti, daubed with swastikas and subjected to arson attacks. Prayer books and sacred Torah scrolls have been destroyed. Interiors despoiled with excrement and paint. Jewish people have been injured and have been murdered.
