Documentary takes the form of a miniature television, its screen hand-stitched with accounts of some of the atrocities committed against Jewish and Israeli girls and women on 7 October 2023.

The work explores not only the sexual violence perpetrated against women that day, but also the responses to these crimes. Despite the evidence, including footage recorded on the body cameras of Hamas terrorists and the findings of an in-depth Parliamentary Commission Report (2025), the sexual violence continues to be denied or questioned in many parts of the world.

The reluctance to acknowledge the suffering of these women raises deeply troubling questions about whether the identities of victims influence how their experiences are received. The limited response from some women’s rights organisations is equally concerning, prompting reflection on the universality of our commitment to women’s rights and the importance of recognising every victim’s suffering, without exception.
